Just by looking over my blog you can see how much I like natural pictures-I don’t go for the fully posed shots-I go for shots with movement and personality-it’s about having fun and capturing the moment for me. This is one of my favorite shoots that demonstrates my attempt to capture every laugh, every smile, every real moment!

Here are three super sweet brother I got to meet up with right after Christmas. We had a lovely day-this was my last shoot before taking a little time off after all the cold weather we had this year! I’m excited that it is finally greening up again and I can get back out there with my camera!

I love it when kids loose both their teeth at the same time! I am so exxcited that I got a chance to photograph my son with both of his front teeth missing! I think I’ll be pretty sad when those big teeth come back in and he is no longer toothless!

This is what they started out with, a lovely family of five…and here is what they have now, a BIG FAMILY!!!!
I took these right before Christmas and as you can see we did a large family session! We had a great time doing them and I love all the different groups shots we were able to get. It may be long-enjoy!

I have been very absent from the blog but I am hoping to get some pictures up today and to continue to update this week so I can catch up with some of the great shoots I have done but not shared. Families typically begin with an infant but today I had the joy of meeting up with a family that welcomes their first child at three. She is long awaited for these parents and the love that they share was so strong and evident! I had so much fun spending a few hours with them this morning. Our little one was so full of life and joy-she was animated, happy and content. Her new parents were so happy to be with her and I feel honored to have taken all of their pictures! Thank you for such a fun morning!!! I will say that I have so many gorgeous pictures I am having a hard time choosing which ones to share so bear with me as try to sort my favorites down to a reasonable number! 
This family was so much fun to shoot last weekend! Little man was just JOYFUL! I had so much fun chasing him all around the park so we could capture his personality. I think we got it and I just adore all the colors. The clothing was also perfectly chosen to really look natural together.
Wow, I have been so busy these last few weeks that I have not had a moment to update with some samples from shoots! So sit back and enjoy because I have several that need to go up in the next few days. I want to start with these family pictures I took a few weekends back. I had taken the kids pictures a month or so ago but dad was out of twon so we met up for a few family photos. I LOVE the variations of blue they are all wearing!
I finally got to my kids! I have been so busy this season that I hadn’t had a moment to photograph my own kids so today I checked them out of school early and we snapped some up!

This was my fourth year back photographing this family and I have had such a joy watching these beautiful boys grow up over the years! They are really turning into such great looking young men! As always they make me laugh so much while we are together. I am so happy that I had another opportunity to photograph these young men and even happier that mom and dad joined in this year! Thanks guys for a great afternoon!
