I took these right at the start of summer.  I have been photographing this little one since she was two.  We get together about 3-4 times a year and I have loved every minute of it!  She is such a sweetie and SO photogenic!!!  Hope you enjoy!

So without further ado I will share some newborn shots I took this summer.  Hope you enjoy!  If you are pregnant, plan to become pregnant or just know someone who is give me a call and we’ll set something up!  I’d love to add some more pictures to my newborn portfolio!

This group of samples includes our family Christmas card this year.   We chose to use the 5×5 trifold cards.  The flat samples aare 5×7 cards.   Again, these cards are press printed and double sided.  Colors and text can be changed to meet your needs and likes.  Cards arrive about two days after your order is completed.  I sent my own cards out this week! 

One of the hardest things for me to do is to capture great pictures of my own children.  Fortunately I have a very nice friend who stands behind me and makes silly comments at my children to get them to smile and look natural.  I am very happy with the pictures I got this year and I will share my own Christmas card a little later once I get mine all mailed out!  Until then, please enjoy the pictures I captured!  Special thanks to one of my friends who helped me get the family shots - you did a great job!!!

Here is a tri fold sample - again it is double sided.  The front of the card has the three kids and then you open it up to the greeting.  The final open reveals all three kids with the back having the picture of the dog.

My second shoot this afternoon turned out to be a real stunner!  I met up with my clients in their gorgeous backyard and we snapped right as the sun was setting over the lake.  The orange colors are so bright and beautiful and look great with the red shirts everyone was wearing.  I had the pleasure of photographing these girls in the spring but this time around we went for the whole family and I am so happy we did!  They are a spectacular looking family and so loving and warm!  These pictures really capture their bonds.  Thanks to you all for a great afternoon and thanks especially to the youngest who was a perfect darling even though she was feeling a little under the weather.  There may be quite a few to look at in this post as I am going to have a hard time choosing my favorites!!!

And just for fun…a few silly ones - see even grown boys can still play!

I love the week of Thanksgiving as it is the perfect time to get those sought after holiday pictures.  The kids are all out of school this week and I have lots of sessions to keep me busy because of the break.  I love the colors in these pictures.  We shot at one of my favorite spots with all the green, moss and water and I absolutely LOVE the reds, creams and browns the family wore.  We had a great time today even though we had a little bit of an unexpected moment.  One of my friends kind of fell off the dock this afternoon right into the grassy waters below.  Fortunately it was only up to her ankles and everyone was a great sport about it, so great in fact that we continued shooting even after the splash and still got some great shots.  So thanks for the great sportsmanship and the fantastic laughs this afternoon.  It will for sure go down as one of my funniest shooting moments!

And just one of the fall…gotta include that one!  As a note, I am not usually so callous as to take pictures of a child who is crying but I have known this family very well for about four years so I had to capture this “precious moment” so we could always remember it!
